We use data from the 2019 EU Labor Force Survey to study gender and parenthood gaps in two dimensions of flexibility working time arrangements 25 European countries. find that overall Europe, there is no statistically significant difference access flexible work arrangements. However, women are less likely than men have hours Central-Eastern Southern countries, whereas this gap reversed Continental Europe. At same time, face demands their employers they hours. also both mothers fathers more childless colleagues hours, but fathers' workplaces mothers' demand temporal employees. In addition, we a female-dominated occupation decreases probability having arrangements, effect stronger for men. observe who occupations exposed counterparts male-dominated or gender-neutral occupations. Finally, compared other Europeans Central Eastern countries offer especially women, with additional being offered parents; Nordic gap.
